Thank you to our concert pianist Daphne Loewendahl

To cap off our Year of the Member, our British Ladies were treated to a marvelous recital on Thursday, March 28th at the home of our long time member Daphne Loewendahl.  Daphne who is a concert pianist played alongside her stepson David on the violin, and Olivia, David’s wife on the cello.   What a splendid list of classical pieces; we were treated to eleven varied pieces, including Praeludium from the Holberg Suite, the most popular Jealousy, Scherzo from Piano Trio with Dance of the Comedians ending the recital.  A much appreciated encore of Claude Debussy’s Claire de Lune capturing our attention once more to finalize the event.  Thank you Daphne, David & Olivia.  Also many thanks to our recital volunteers: Sue Leonard, Iris van Kesteren, Fiona Macdonald, Ann Firth, Christine Romines, Karon Clark and Linda D Jones, our event coordinator.
